Scholarships

One of SCC’s strongest beliefs is that money should never be an obstacle to attending Southern Comfort. All transgender individuals and the ones they love have a right to the information presented during SCC programs and classes, as well as experience the love and magic that comes only by participating in a major assembly of the community.

Ann West Scholarship

Ann West, who was one of SCC's longest parcitating vendors, has passed away. Over the years she, probably sold you a pair of shoes. She was a great lady and truly loved our family. In her honor we have set up a scholarship fund. If you would like to donate please check the box and fill in the amount you would like to donate I would like to make a donation to assist SCC with the Ann West Scholarship. In the box to the right, you can enter any dollar amount for your donation, from $10 to $15,000. SCC is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and donations are tax-deductible.

Please make sure to give us as much advance notice as possible.

SCC Scholarships are funded through the donations of our attendees and patrons. If you have been the recipient of an SCC Scholarship in the past, please do not apply a second time. There are limited funds and our goal is to help as many people as possible.
