SCC Starts in just 209 days – Registration Opens April 1st 2012

Special Message from Alexis Dee - Conference Chairperson

Hope you are all doing well.

We are less than two weeks away from the opening of registration for the Southern Comfort Conference 2011…This will be our 21st event and as our theme suggests we have "Come of Age". The dates of the conference are September 20-25, 2011. We will be returning to the Crowne Plaza @ Ravinia, Atlanta, Ga.

This year is going to be especially unique because of our historic collaboration with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA).

In addition to our regular conference offerings and entertainment, on Sunday September 25, 2011 we will be presenting a joint symposium at the Emory University Conference Center. This will be an "all day" event.

For the first time, our community will have the opportunity to directly address the professionals that set the guideline for transgendered care and treatment. SCC has chosen four speakers to explain our point of view regarding issues affecting our community.

If you would like to attend this event, you must register on our registration page, as attendance is limited. At 11:59:59 EDT Thursday March 31st our registrar Tony will be at his computer. At 12:00:01 EDT he will start the registration. Why is this so important?? Well I am glad you asked.

The first fifty to register will be able to take advantage of our "loyalty" discount…. (See website for pricing ). Last year they sold out in record time, so if you are planning on attending set your alarm!!!
