WPATH & GLMA Conference

We at Southern Comfort are extremely excited to offer a "once in a lifetime" chance for you , our attendees, to meet the most prestigious doctors, therapists, and many other World Professional Association for Transgender Health , professionals that are dedicated to helping the LGBT community.

The Gay and Lesbian Medical Association will also take part in the symposium , they will be offering a presentation at the conference.

This event will take place on September 25 at the Emory University Conference Center.

Sunday at Emory University Conference Center

Schedule:
9.00 – 10.00 pm: Buses transport participants from Southern Comfort and GLMA to the WPATH conference site
10.00 am: Welcome by Vin Tangpricha, WPATH Conference Chair
10.15 – 11.00 pm: Brief presentations from each of the three collaborating organizations seated on a panel (15 min each)
11.15 – 1.00 pm: Luncheon with round tables. These round tables are intended to foster dialog among members of the three organizations. Each round table with be facilitated by an assigned member/moderator of one of the three collaborating organizations. .
1.00 – 1.15 pm: Break
1.15 – 2.45 pm: Symposium organized by GLAM on community-based health care and community-participatory research.
2.45 – 3.15 pm: Break
3.15 – 4.45 pm: Symposium organized by Southern Comfort speakers to include :Stephanie Battaglino , Moonhawk Riverstone, Michelle( Miss Kitty Meow) and Chaz Bono.
4.45 – 5.15 pm: Launch of Version 7 of the WPATH Standards of Care
5.15 – 7.15 pm: Wine and cheese reception

Vendor Registration for Sunday Sept 25th

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health is offering exhibitor space at its symposium in Atlanta, Georgia (USA)
September 24-28, 2011

Details:
Exhibitors will be given a dedicated space for the entire symposium in a central location at the symposium.
Cost of the table includes 1 paid registration to the symposium. (A $575.00 value)
We expect over 300 participants to the WPATH Symposium with an additional 100 attendees on Sunday for our joint collaboration day with the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association and Southern Comfort participants.
