Get a sneak preview of the week’s activities when you join planning committee members and ship staff for an informal reception in Chip Shots - where all the locals gather. Shoot some stick and socialize in this quiet time before the SCC Celebration casts off for a cruise filled with non-stop events!

Cocktail hour runs from 5 to 7 p.m. Come on down and enjoy the food and beverages in the central meeting place for this year’s conference.

ALL HANDS ON DECK!! If you arrive at the port before we ship out on Thursday, join your fellow shipmates for our annual “Stuffing Party”. Help assemble the Welcome Aboard Packs for our guests and be rewarded with truly excellent pizza afterwards.

Shore Excursion to Orchid Isle: Atlanta Botanical Garden
You will be greeted by a burst of color and fragrance when you enter Orchid Hall, a 5,000-square-foot exhibit room that features seasonal orchid displays. This is only one of the magnificent collections you will experience on this exclusive Southern Comfort guided tour of plant species from around the world. Other indoor displays include the Tropical Rotunda, the Desert House, the High Altitude House, and the Orangerie. The outdoor collection includes the Hydrangeas, the Japanese Garden, the Rose Garden, the Annual Colors Garden, and the Conservation Garden. Shore Excursion to Mystery Isle: Agatha’s, A Taste of Mystery Dinner Theatre

Come for an evening of entertainment and intrigue at Agatha's Mystery Dinner Theater. Enjoy food and drinks with your cruise mates and show off your acting and singing talents in this audience-interactive show. Be sure to bring cash, as the bar only accepts local currency, sorry no credit cards! This favorite SCC excursion is sure to sell out so get your tickets NOW! Only 90 seats available!

SCC offers a health exam in an exclusively transmasculine environment for anyone who wants it. A basic pelvic exam is covered; participants may choose to have additional tests performed for a small out-of-pocket fee. Transportation will be provided to and from the clinic.

Newcomer's Reception

If you are new to SCC, do join concierge extraordinaire Beverly Barnes for an orientation designed to help you feel at ease and at home on the high seas. Newcomers and old salts are welcome at this informal gathering to learn what to expect at the conference and to get some terrific helpful hints about navigating the seminars, shore excursions and social events!

Come On Board and Cruise the Wonderful World of Chardonnay at SCC’s Wine Tasting and Seminar. This is your chance to taste and learn about this popular white grape and its many differences. You will be given the opportunity to taste and learn about a single grape being produced at various wineries that touch the four corners of the world. This event is limited to 40 attendees. Due to Georgia State Law persons less than 21 years of age will not be allowed to attend.

An Old World Tavern on a tropical cruise? Absolutely. The locals go to a lot of effort to create an atmosphere that makes visitors feel at home. This year the So-Co A Go-Go takes place with a tropical backdrop. Everyone is invited to this outrageous event featuring drag kings, drag queens, in-betweens, performance artists, burlesque dancers and actors. This event focuses on performances tailored for our Transmasculine and youth, but EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Despite its location in conservative Cobb County, this hot show club and bar is one of the best nightspots in the metro area. The modern decor features polished hardwood floors, expansive patio seating and two full-service bars. The main has tons of big screen TVs. The adjacent Oasis Room boasts a stage for shows and a spacious dance floor surrounded by intimate, blue-topped tables. Comfy leather couches provide a break from the action. Tonight you are the decoration. Candles and black and white table cloths are just the backdrop for you in your finery. Gowns, suits, tuxes and other sparkly attire will rival the stars and set the stage for a beautiful evening to remember.
