The Southern Comfort Conference Board of Directors wishes to thank the following companies and organizations that have committed to "Be a Part of History" at the First Annual Transgender Career Expo sponsored by the Southern Comfort Conference in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign.   

Bringing together such an esteemed group of organizations to create what may be one of the most important events for the Transgender community is the result of a small group of dedicated people who have worked tirelessly since February 2006 to make it happen.

The incredible vision and forward thinking stance of the participating companies and organizations regarding the issue of equality and opportunity for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is a true testament to the core values of these businesses and should not go unrecognized or unnoticed. Aside from the current list you see here, efforts are still ongoing to bring together an even greater number of companies and organizations who have made one of the most fundamental issues in anyone's life - a career and a sustainable income - a reality for all people regardless of age, sex, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or gender identity.
